Kenn Kaufman is the creator of the Kaufman Field Guide series, which includes volumes on birds, butterflies, mammals, and insects. He is one of the world's most well-known bird experts. He's also the author of Lives of North American Birds and the classic Kingbird Highway, as well as two birding autobiographies, Flights Against the Sunset and Flights Against the Sunset. Kenn is a field editor for Audubon and a frequent contributor to birding periodicals such as Bird Watcher's Digest, WildBird, and Birder's World.
