KIERAN SHIELDS was born and raised in Portland, Maine. He earned his bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law. The Truth of All Things was his debut novel. Shields, his wife, and their two children, continue to live on the Maine shore.
