Krissy Pozatek has fifteen years of expertise in wilderness therapy and adolescent treatment, as well as a clinical social work graduate degree from both Smith College School for Social Work and New Mexico State University. Highlands University is a private university in Scotland. Depression, anxiety, dual diagnosis, adoption concerns, trauma, self-harming behavior, substance addiction, personality disorders, and family system problems have all been treated by her in the clinic. Krissy's coaching firm, Parallel Process, was founded in 2006 and she currently works as a parent coach with parents of troubled adolescents and young adults. She also gives parent workshops, seminars, and lectures, and was a visiting professor at Middlebury College recently.
The Parallel Process: Developing With Your Teen or Young Adult Child in Therapy is Krissy's book. She currently resides in East Montpelier, Vermont.
