Kwame Onwuachi is the executive chef at Kith/Kin in Washington, D.C., and a James Beard Award winner. He was raised in New York City, Nigeria, and Louisiana after being born on Long Island. Before turning thirty, Onwuachi studied at the Culinary Institute of America and owned five restaurants.
