Kyle  Baker

Kyle Baker has written more than 15 graphic books and drawn hundreds more throughout the course of his three-decade career. He has won numerous awards, including eight Eisner Awards and four Harvey Awards. Baker has been a pioneer in the graphic book genre since the 1980s, with works like Nat Turner, Why I Hate Saturn, and King David, he has helped define and evolve the medium. The Cowboy Wally Show, Truth: Red, White, and Black, and Birth of a Nation are among the other titles. Baker has given talks at Dartmouth College, Howard University, the Library of Congress, and the School of Visual Arts, and he teaches homeless teenagers for the City of New York on a regular basis.
