Lark Pien

Lark Pien is an author, cartoonist, and illustrator. She won the Harvey Award for her coloring work on American Born Chinese, the first graphic novel to garner a National Book Award nomination. She worked as a colorist on Boxers & Saints, a 2013 NBA finalist and New York Times best seller. Long Tail Kitty (Blue Apple Books) and Elephanter (Candlewick Publishing) are children's books based on her comic characters. Drawing, crafting handmade minicomics, traveling, and touring are some of her favorite pastimes.
