Laura J. Moss is the cofounder of AdventureCats.org, the first and only online resource for advice on safely exploring the great outdoors with your feline friend, which has become a sensation since it began in October 2015, with an audience of 150,000 monthly visitors (and increasing) and 63,000 Instagram followers, getting recognition from Wired, the Huffington Post, Good magazine, Outside Channel, and others. In honor of National Adventure with Your Cat Day (June 15), AdventureCats.org has teamed up with Purina to co-host a cat-hiking media event in Central Park. Laura is a journalist whose work has featured on CNN, the Huffington Post, Forbes, Yahoo, and Best Friends magazine, in addition to being a mom to three rescue animals. She worked as a senior editor for the Mother Nature Network, the world's most popular sustainable-living news site, for six years, where she focused on pets and animals, mainly cats. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
