Laurence Steinberg, Ph.D., Temple University's Distinguished University Professor of Psychology, is the author of the leading textbook on adolescence, as well as more than 350 scientific publications and a dozen books. He has contributed to the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and Psychology Today, among other publications, and is a frequent guest on NPR. He currently resides in Philadelphia.
