The Text Award for Young Adult and Children's Literature was awarded to Leanne Hall in 2009. She works as a children's specialist in an independent bookstore in Melbourne. Leanne can't imagine a finer life than one spent reading and writing young adult literature, and she has far too many ideas for future books to ever consider working full-time. Her debut work, THIS IS SHYNESS, was followed by QUEEN OF THE NIGHT, a sequel.
