Leo Dillon

Leo and Diane Dillon are two of today's most well-known illustrators. They worked together for over five decades. Two Caldecott Medals, the NAACP Image Award, five Coretta Scott King Awards and Honors, four Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards, and membership into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame are among their many accolades. Until Leo's death in 2012, Leo and Diane created award-winning picture books, book covers, periodicals, and other artwork. Their final collaboration is Love and the Rocking Chair.
