Linda Hogan is a Chickasaw writer, teacher, and activist who has lived in Oklahoma and Colorado for the most of her life. Hogan has written essays for the Nature Conservancy and the Sierra Club as a volunteer and consultant for wildlife rehabilitation and endangered species programs. Her fiction and poetry have won several accolades, including Pulitzer Prize and National Book Critics Circle nominations.
