Lisa Damour

Lisa Damour, Ph.D., graduated with honors from Yale University, worked for the Yale Child Study Center, and then went to the University of Michigan for her doctorate in clinical psychology. She has written a number of scholarly papers and book chapters on education and child development. Dr. Damour is the director of the Laurel School's Center for Research on Girls, has a private psychotherapy practice, consults and talks globally, and is a faculty affiliate at Case Western Reserve University's Schubert Center for Child Studies and a clinical instructor. She and her husband live in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with their two daughters.
