Lisa Freeman began her career as an actor, appearing in a number of television shows and films (including Mom and Back to the Future I and II, to mention a few). She began her writing career in radio and spoken word after performing at the Comedy Store. Freeman graduated from Antioch University with a BA in liberal studies and creative writing, an MFA in fiction, and a certificate in writing pedagogy. She lives in Santa Monica, California, and is the author of Honey Girl.
