Maggie Oster

Maggie Oster, the author, has been cooking since the age of five. Maggie has also published additional Storey book titles such as Herbal Vinegar and Herb Mixtures & Spicy Blends. She is a qualified gardener, freelance writer, and photographer. She's also the author of The Potato Garden, Blooming Herbs, Garden Gifts and Crafts, and Recipes from an American Herb Garden. She went to Cornell University for graduate school and was the previous editor of an indoor and container gardening journal in Seattle, Washington. Maggie has also contributed to Rodale's Basic Natural Foods Cookbook, written monthly pieces for The Weekend Gardener Journal and Louisville Today magazines, and earned an award from The Newark Star-Ledger for an article and images on cooking with edible flowers. She currently resides in Kentucky.
