Marc Weissbluth

Marc Weissbluth, M.D., a pediatrician with 40 years of expertise, is also a major researcher on sleep and children. He established the first Sleep Disorders Center at Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital (now known as the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital). Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago) and Northwestern University School of Medicine's Clinical Pediatrics Department. He has written about sleep difficulties in pediatrics textbooks, lectured extensively to parent groups, is a regular at the 92nd Street Y, and has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, in addition to his own studies. Dr. Weissbluth has four sons and eight grandkids with his wife of more than fifty years, Linda. They reside in the city of Chicago.
