Marie Lu is the author of the New York Times bestselling novels Legend, Prodigy, and Champion (www.marielu.org). She got her start in the video game industry as a Flash artist for Disney Interactive Studios after graduating from the University of Southern California. She spends her free time reading, painting, playing Assassin's Creed, and getting trapped in traffic now that she is a full-time writer. She lives in Los Angeles, California, with one boyfriend, one Chihuahua mix, and two Pembroke Welsh corgis (see above: traffic).
