Marilynn Griffith is the author of the Shades of Style and Sassy Sistahood series, as well as eight other books. Charisma Magazine, Black Expressions Book Club, and Black Problems Book Review have all featured her novels. Chicken Soup for the Christian Woman's Soul, Cup of Comfort Devotionals, and Momsense Magazine are among her other credits. She is also the president of SistahFaith Communications, LLC, which she founded recently. Marilynn was all too familiar with concealment and shame, having been raped at the age of thirteen and becoming a first-time mother at the age of fourteen. She now encourages women to put aside the shame of secrecy and gives a message of hope and healing after becoming a Christian and marrying a decent man.
