Mark Dever is the senior pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC, and the president of 9Marks (9Marks.org). He holds a Ph.D. from Cambridge University. Dever is the author of more than a dozen books and talks at conferences all across the country. He and his wife, Connie, have two grown children and live in Washington, DC.
