Mark  Evanier

In 1969, Mark Evanier met Jack Kirby and worked as his assistant before becoming his official biographer. Evanier is a writer and historian who has authored over 500 comic books for Gold Key, DC Comics, and Marvel Comics, as well as hundreds of hours of television (including Garfield) and several books, including Mad Art (2002). He's been nominated for three Emmy Awards and awarded the Writers Guild of America's Lifetime Achievement Award for Animation.
