Tall tales and wonderful yarns have always been a part of author Mary Ellen Taylor's southern heritage. Mary Ellen was inspired to pursue an English degree at Virginia Hollins University as a result of her admiration. She was a RITA Award finalist and a Romantic Times Critics Choice Award nominee under the name Mary Burton. Mary Ellen is a Virginia resident.
