Matt Collins is a writer with a background in horticulture. He received his training at the Botanic Gardens of Wales before joining the Garden Museum in London as a consultant. He worked as the head gardener at a private residence, honing his whittling talents and publishing Ivy City, a diary about the labour involved in keeping a working garden going.
