Matt de la Pena is the author of popular teen novels such as Ball Don't Lie, Mexican WhiteBoy, and The Living, as well as two beloved picture books, A Nation's Hope and Last Stop on Market Street, and two parts in the epic Infinity Ring series. He resides in Brooklyn and teaches creative writing at NYU.
