Matt Dembicki previously edited and contributed to Trickster: Native American Tales: A Graphic Anthology, which was Eisner nominated and won the Aesop Prize. He was also the editor of District Comics: An Unusual History of Washington, D.C., a Harvey Award-nominated anthology that the Washington Post named one of the finest books of 2012.
