Professor Matthew McKay, PhD, works at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. He's written and cowritten a number of publications, including The Relaxation and Stress Reduction Workbook, Self-Esteem, Thoughts and Emotions, When Anger Hurts, and Focus on Life Not on Anger. McKay holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and depression. He currently resides and works in the San Francisco Bay Area.
