Maurice  Cranston

At the London School of Economics, Maurice Cranston was an Emeritus Professor of Political Science. He has taught at Harvard University, Dartmouth College, the University of British Columbia, the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, and the European University Institute over his long and renowned academic career. A three-volume biography of Rousseau, as well as John Locke: A Life and What are Human Rights? are among his many works. In November 1993, Maurice Cranston passed away.
