Max Lugavere

Max Lugavere is a health and scientific journalist, as well as a filmmaker and TV personality. He is the filmmaker of the documentary Bread Head, which is the first of its kind to focus on dementia prevention through diet and lifestyle changes. Lugavere has written for a variety of publications, including Medscape, Vice, Fast Business, and the Daily Beast, and is a regular guest expert on The Dr Oz Show. He's a sought-after speaker who's given keynotes at events like the Biohacker Summit in Stockholm, Sweden, and has lectured at prestigious academic institutions like the New York Academy of Sciences and Weill Cornell Medical. Lugavere worked as a journalist for Al Gore's Current TV from 2005 to 2011. He splits his time between New York and Los Angeles.
