MAXWELL EATON III spent his boyhood in Vermont, climbing trees, damming streams, and spying on unsuspecting cows. He now works on children's books in Tucson, Arizona, where the trees can't be climbed and the streams have dried up, but the cows remain unconcerned. The Adventures of Max and Pinky, Two Stupid Ducks, and the Flying Beaver Brothers series are all written and illustrated by him.
