Melissa Bashardoust earned an English degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she rekindled her passion for creative writing, children's literature, and fairy tales and retellings. She currently resides in Southern California with a cat named Alice and far too many copies of Jane Eyre. Her debut novel is titled Girls Composed of Snow and Glass.
