Charles Clarke Reynolds Professor of Marketing and Director of the Retail Supply Chain Institute at Babson College is Michael Levy, PhD. He earned his MBA from The Ohio State University and his undergraduate and master's degrees in business administration from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Before joining the University of Miami faculty as a professor and chair of the marketing department, he taught at Southern Methodist University. Professor Levy's research interests include retailing, business logistics, financial retailing strategy, pricing, and sales management. Throughout his professional career, Professor Levy has worked in retailing and related fields.

Previous to his academic career, he worked in Colorado for a number of retailers and a housewares wholesaler. Accenture, Federated Department Stores, Khimetrics, Mervyn's, Neiman Marcus, ProfitLogic (Oracle), Zale Corporation, and a number of law organizations are among the retailers and retail technology firms with which he has worked on research projects. He was a co-chair of the Academy of Marketing Science conference in 1993 and the Summer AMA conference in 2006.
