Michelle Muratori

Michelle Muratori is a senior counselor and researcher at Johns Hopkins University's Center for Gifted Children in Baltimore, Maryland, where she works with extremely gifted middle and high school adolescents and their families as part of the Study of Extraordinary Ability. Michelle earned her doctorate in counselor education from the University of Iowa after receiving her MA in counseling psychology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. The Iowa Talented and Gifted Association, the National Association for Gifted Children, the Mensa Education and Research Foundation, and Mensa International, Ltd. all recognized her graduate studies on the academic, social, and emotional adjustment of young college freshmen. Michelle was also honored at the University of Iowa with the Howard R. The First in the Nation in Education (FINE) Scholar Award, the Albert Hood Promising Scholar Award, and the Jones Achievement Award
