Michelle Tam is the acknowledged food nerd and working mom behind Nom Nom Paleo, a popular food blog and one of the most popular and highly rated iPad(R) cooking apps ever. Michelle's recipes have been described as frequently Asian-influenced, often California-inspired, and always bursting with flavor by The Kitchn. Michelle's webpage was named the Best Special Diets Food Blog by Saveur Magazine in 2012. Michelle works as a nightshift hospital pharmacist and chases her two small sons around the house when she's not cooking. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science and the University of California, San Francisco, with a Doctorate of Pharmacy.
Michelle's husband and co-conspirator is Henry Fong. He's the designer and photographer of Nom Nom Paleo, which earned a Homies Award from Apartment Therapy for Best Food Photography on a Blog in 2012. Henry is a Yale Law School and University of California, Berkeley, graduate. He despises putting out the trash.
