Professor of Economics at Harvard University, Gregory Mankiw He obtained an A.B. in economics from Princeton University, where he began his studies. Following the completion of a Ph.D. He began teaching at Harvard in 1985 after receiving his Ph.D. in economics from MIT. In 1987, he was elevated to full professor. Professor Mankiw is a frequent speaker at academic and policy conferences.

His research focuses on price adjustment, consumer behavior, financial markets, monetary and fiscal policy, and economic growth, among other topics. He has served as a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, a member of the Brookings Panel on Economic Activity, and an adviser to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the Congressional Budget Office in addition to his responsibilities at Harvard. He served as chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisers from 2003 to 2005.
