Nancy Bell has always been fascinated by the landscape, language, and lore of her childhood home of East Texas. In her Biggie mysteries, Bell lets her rural roots shine through. She now lives in Austin, Texas, where she is a housemother to the sorority sisters of Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Texas.
