Nancy Butler is a historical fiction novelist who has written two novellas and eleven books, including Rake's Retreat, which won the RITA award, as well as The Quotable Lover and The Best Romance Tales Ever Told (page xx). She lives in Teaneck, New Jersey, and has been a longtime dog lover.
