Madison and Jefferson is a co-authored book with Andrew Burstein. She is the letter T. Harry Williams is a professor of American history at Louisiana State University and a regular contributor to Salon.com. Isenberg was named #4 on the 2016 Politico 50 list and received the 2016 Walter & Lillian Lowenfels Criticism Prize from the Before Columbus Foundation. She splits her time between Baton Rouge and Charlottesville, Virginia.
