Nathaniel C Fick

Nathaniel Fick served as an infantry officer and subsequently as an elite Recon Marine after graduating from Dartmouth with a BA in classics. Before departing the Corps as a captain, he saw duty in Afghanistan and Iraq. In Washington, D.C., he is now a Fellow at the Center for a New American Security. He is the author of ONE BULLET AWAY, a New York Times bestseller. Fick is a director of the Marine Corps Scholarship Fund and the Rockefeller Center for Public Policy at Dartmouth College, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the International Institute of Strategic Studies.

He has a bachelor's degree. from Dartmouth College, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a master's degree in international security policy from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. The Kennedy School of Government is a public policy school in Boston.
