Nelson DeMille is the author of twenty-one New York Times bestselling novels, six of which were #1 New York Times bestsellers. The Deserter (co-written with Alex DeMille), The Cuban Affair, Word of Honor, Plum Island, The Charm School, The Gold Coast, and The General's Daughter (turned into a blockbuster film picture starring John Travolta and Madeleine Stowe) are among his novels. He's published short tales, book reviews, and magazine and newspaper articles. Nelson DeMille is a combat-decorated US Army veteran, a member of Mensa, Poets & Writers, the Authors Guild, and the Mystery Writers of America, as well as a previous president. He's a member of the International Thriller Writers, who named him ThrillerMaster of the Year in 2015. He and his family live on Long Island.
