Norihiro Yagi was awarded the 32nd Akatsuka Prize for his first work, UNDEADMAN, which was published in Monthly Shonen Jump magazine. Angel Densetsu (Angel Legend), a comedy that ran in Monthly Shonen Jump from 1993 to 2000, was his first serialized manga. Claymore, his epic narrative that spanned the years 2001 to 2014, was transformed into a television anime series and a computer game.
