Pamela Clare, a New York Times best-selling author, began her writing career as an investigative journalist before becoming the first woman editor of two different newspapers. She received multiple state and national awards along the way, including the National Journalism Award for Public Service and the Keeper of the Flame Lifetime Achievement Award from the Colorado Society of Professional Journalists.
