Patricia Sprinkle determined in ninth school that she wanted to be a writer, and she pursued that dream at Vassar College, where she studied creative writing. Sprinkle returned to the United States after a life-changing, deadline-free stint in the Scottish Highlands, where she settled down with her husband and children in Atlanta, Georgia, where she discovered her passion in the mystery genre. Sprinkle has published twenty mysteries, four novels, and five nonfiction works since 1988. She eventually returned to school to get a Masters of Arts in Religious Studies with a focus on religion and literature at Florida International University. Mableton, Georgia is where she currently resides.
