Penny  Warner

Penny Warner has written more than 50 books for adults and children, spanning fiction and nonfiction. Secret of the Haunted Caves, her middle-grade mystery, won an Agatha Award. Warner holds a master's degree in special education and a bachelor's degree in child development. She teaches child development at Diablo Valley College in San Roman, California, and speaks at conferences all across the country about her work. She is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, SCBWI, California Writers Club, and Women Writing the West, among other organizations.

The national Dr. Spock PBS series, Parent Sense, Later Today, HGTV, Channel 7 News, People Are Talking, Mornings on 2, and hundreds of others have all featured ideas from Warner's books.
