Peter Bruce

Peter Bruce, who spent many years in the Royal Navy, still spends a lot of time at sea racing, cruising, or studying his pilotage books. He has a long list of victories on his own yachts, making him one of the world's best Corinthian skippers. Since his first Fastnet race in 1961, he has been on Britain's winning Admiral's Cup team twice and has competed in most of the Fastnet races with distinction. For the past twenty-three years, he has been rewriting Heavy Weather Sailing.
