Johann Peter Weiss was born in Berlin in 1928 and studied art and history in Stuttgart. In 1956, he moved to Australia. Bookseller in Adelaide, lecturer at TAFE colleges, and full-time German-Australian historian since 1985. A Brief General and Statistical History of the Australian Lutheran Church, as well as Internment and Internees in Australia During WWII, are among his other works. Johann Peter Weiss is a South Australian author who lives in Adelaide.
