Philip  Freeman

PHILIP FREEMAN is the head of classical languages at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and holds a degree from Harvard University. He has been a visiting scholar at the American Academy in Rome, the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington, D.C., and the Harvard Divinity School. He has received various teaching prizes and distinctions. Julius Caesar, The Philosopher and the Druids, and St. Augustine are among Professor Freeman's past works. Patrick, patron saint of Ireland.
