Phoebe WallerBridge

Actress, dramatist, and screenwriter Phoebe Waller-Bridge Fleabag, Phoebe Waller-Bridge's first play, had its world premiere at the 2013 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where it was performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge herself, before transferring to London's Soho Theatre for many successful runs and a UK tour. It received a Fringe First Award, the Off West End Theatre Awards' Most Promising New Playwright and Outstanding Female Performance, The Stage Award for Best Single Performer, and the Critics' Circle Award for Most Promising Playwright. In 2016, a television adaptation of Fleabag starring the author was broadcast on BBC3/Amazon. It went on to win multiple prizes, including a BAFTA for best actress in a comedy, and became one of the most talked about and written about shows of the year.

Killing Eve (BBC America, 2018) and Crashing (E4, 2016) are two of her other television writing credits. 2nd May 1997 (Bush Theatre), Tribes (Royal Court Theatre), Mydidae (Soho Theatre), and the award-winning film The Iron Woman are among her acting credits. She is the co-Artistic Director of DryWrite, an acclaimed new writing company.
