Renee Ahdieh is a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduate. She enjoys salsa dancing and shoe collecting in her spare time. She enjoys all types of curries, as well as rescue dogs and college basketball. Renee spent the first few years of her childhood in a high-rise in South Korea, so she appreciates having her head in the clouds. She and her husband live in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their tiny overlord of a dog. The Rose and the Dagger is the follow-up to The Wrath and the Dawn, her dazzling debut novel.
