Richard Carleton Hacker is a well-known international writer and photographer who focuses on spirits, wines, cigars, and other high-end lifestyles. He has been a contributing editor for a number of national publications, including Robb Report, The Somm Journal, and The Tasting Panel, for a number of years. He has been knighted in Germany and is a lifetime member of the Scotch whisky industry's elite Keeper of the Quaich honorary organization. He has also been admitted into the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne. He resides in the city of Sherman Oaks, California.
