Richard Johnson is the co-author of seven statistics texts and monographs, including Probability and Statistics for Engineers and Applied Multivariate Statistical Analysis. He has written over 120 technical publications in the areas of reliability and life testing, multivariate analysis, big sample theory, and engineering applications, in addition to many years of expertise teaching all levels of statistics courses at the University of Wisconsin. Johnson has given speeches about his study in 23 countries around the world. He is a Member of the American Statistical Association, a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, and a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, as well as an elected member of the International Statistical Institute.
