Rob Hunter worked as a teacher for the Victoria Education Department until February 2018, after the kidnapping in 1977. He is married to Judi and lives in a rural area in Victoria. They are the parents of four adult sons. Rob is the founder and presenter of the Kidnapped Teacher Speaks - Wellness After Harm seminar. The seminar is based on Rob's overall health, despite the tragedy of his captivity.
