Rob Liefeld wanted to be a comic book artist since he was a kid. He realized his dream as a teenager when he started working for Marvel Comics' X-Men publications, exposing the world to Deadpool, Cable, and X-Force! Marvel commissioned Rob to reimagine the legendary Marvel characters, Captain America and the Avengers, for a new age, resulting in the best-selling Heroes Reborn universe. Rob was ecstatic to collaborate on the Apocalypse Now series with Phil Hotsenpiller.
